Patrick Zimmerman, Founder, CTO C-Lock Technology develops and quantifies marketable greenhouse gas emission credits across industry sectors. The C-Lock technology Team will develop the necessary data bases and numerical models required to establish a business-as-usual baseline for the proposed reduction activity and will link user-supplied inputs through an easy to use internet-delivered interface to the model in a way that documents additionality, ownership, and permanence. Dr. Sherry Farwell, Director The laboratory provides a suite of analytical services directly related to the characterization of the chemical, physical, and thermo properties of coal, biofuel-coal mixtures, and bio-based alternative fuels. In addition, the laboratory will perform applied research to optimize coal-cleaning processes and biofuel-coal mixtures for high energy production and minimal environmental impacts. During its initial years, the laboratory will also serve as the commercialization site for the previously noted IASTS that is of major interest to the U.S. Army and certain DoD contractors.
